用途：过硫酸钾是乳胶或丙烯酸单体聚合液、醋酸乙烯、氯乙烯等产品的引发剂，同时也是苯乙烯、丙烯腈、丁二烯等胶体发生共聚作用的引发剂。作为一种强氧化剂有以下用途：
(1)用作脱浆剂和漂白活性剂。
(2)用于水池及封闭循环处理水中有害物质的氧化降解。
(3)是生产淀粉的调节剂，并应用于粘和剂和涂料生产中。
(4)用于支链氧化、乙醇和芳香族羟基氧化。
(5)是染发剂的基本成分之一，起脱色作用。
